This flat-topped mountain in the heart of Cape Town has so much to offer to the tourist and locals. From the cable car taking you up to the top, showing you breathe taking views and priceless memories to hiking up the steep mountain trails and walking through the unique fauna and flora it has to show.
The Cable car is a great and easy way to go to the top, going up in a car that turns 360 degrees so one can see from every angle. On top of the mountain there is a restaurant where you can grab a bite to eat or just freshen up. Well paved paths lead you on a tour all around the top where you can see up close all the unique and endangered Cape fynbos, growing wild. Animals common on the mountain are "dassies" a rock hyrax and also some porcupines, mongooses, snakes and tortoises.
When faceing the mountain from the waterfront's side you will see Devil's peak on the left and Loins head together with signal hill on the right. You will be in for a treat when reading about the stories on Wikipedia or other sites of how these mountains got their names.
If you haven’t been to see Table Mountain or experienced what the mountain has to offer, you are missing out! So get traveling, get down to Cape Town and come and see this Natural Wonder for yourself.
